The Nordic Scholars Leadership Institute (NSLI) selects a small, interdisciplinary cohort for its fully funded leadership program in Sweden.
Designed as leadership development beyond the classroom, the program combines advanced leadership training with direct engagement in real institutional settings. Scholars work closely with senior Nordic leaders across government, industry, academia, and civil society to examine how governance, collaboration, innovation, and public problem-solving function in practice.
Through institutional briefings, site visits, workshops, and structured reflection, scholars strengthen their leadership judgment, self-awareness, and professional maturity for complex, real-world environments.
In 2025, the pilot cohort included students from 12 different majors and minors and admitted approximately 9% of applicants.
Eligible Candidates

- All academic disciplines welcome
- Demonstrated maturity, intellectual curiosity, and leadership potential
- Interest in governance, innovation, and global challenges
- Minimum 3.3 undergraduate GPA
NSLI invests in emerging leaders and holds scholars to high standards of preparation and engagement.
