Program Coordinator

Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic and committed Program Coordinator to our core program:
- Shaqodoon Employment Services Program – supporting youth and young adults in job readiness, career navigation, and employment placement.
The Program Coordinator will oversee day-to-day program activities, provide direct support to participants, and ensure effective program delivery, tracking, and reporting.
This is a short-term 1099 contract position ending on or before June 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesEmployment Services Program (Shaqodoon) – Priority Area
- Conduct intakes with youth and young adult participants.
- Assist participants in applying for jobs, creating resumes, and developing employment plans.
- Connect participants with employers and career opportunities.
- Provide career navigation, support services, and follow-up after job placement.
- Track participant data (hired, in-process, unemployed) and prepare monthly reports.
- Develop and send program newsletters.
General Program Coordination
- Support program evaluation and reporting.
- Maintain accurate records and data tracking.
- Collaborate with staff, trainers, and community partners.
- Foster strong relationships with participants and their families.
- Perform additional program-related duties as needed.
